What is the full form of NDA?

As we mentioned earlier, the full form of the NDA exam is the National Defense Academy National Defense Academy exam which is conducted by UPSC. Apart from this the Public Service Commission (Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)} also conducts other government recruitment examinations for applicants who have passed any examination from class 12th to graduation level.

Most of these exams are known by their abbreviation like UPSC CSE or IAS, CDS, CAPF, UPSC ESE, UPSC CMS etc. The eligibility criteria are different for all UPSC exams. The NDA exam is conducted twice every year in the months of April and September.

NDA Eligibility Criteria –

NDA and NA exam is conducted by UPSC for 10+2 passed students to join Indian Defense Services (National Defense Academy). In these, applicants in the age group of 16.5 years to 19.5 years who have passed class 12th or are waiting for their results after the exam can apply for the NDA 2022 exam. There is no provision of age relaxation for any category in the NDA exam. The eligibility criteria for NDA is based on factors like nationality, age limit, physical standards and educational qualification of the candidates only.
